Addressing a gathering of Reliance employees, Anant expressed his determination to elevate Jamnagar’s stature further. “I firmly believe that 25 years from now, when India celebrates its centenary of independence, we will together take Jamnagar’s prestige and glory to unprecedented heights,” he said, while emphasising on his long-term aspirations for the region.
Reflecting on the past, Anant paid tributes to Dhirubhai Ambani’s dream of building a world-class refinery, a vision realised by Mukesh Ambani during Dhirubhai’s lifetime. “Today, I feel deeply honoured to be entrusted with this invaluable legacy,” Anant said. He made a heartfelt pledge to fulfil every aspiration linked to Jamnagar, vowing to his father that he would bring these dreams to life.
Beyond the refinery, Anant spoke about his love for wildlife and the importance of conservation. He highlighted Vantara, Reliance’s large-scale wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centre, which he said is a beacon for animal welfare. Inspired by his mother, Nita Ambani, who instilled in him compassion for all living beings, he urged everyone to show care and kindness towards animals and birds.
“Vantara is proof that Reliance cares for animals and birds as much as it does for people. It embodies our ‘We Care’ philosophy,” he said.
