Ruru Madrid is fresh from his Best Supporting Actor win at the MMFF 2024 for his role in “Green Bones,” and he is nothing short of grateful to girlfriend Bianca Umali.
According to his interview with Nelson Canlas, which aired on “24 Oras” on Thursday, Bianca has been there for Ruru since the very beginning.
When asked if he sees himself settling down with Bianca in the near future, Ruru answered in the affirmative.
“Yeah.
Bianca tearfully cheered on Ruru when he claimed his Best Supporting Actor award last Friday at the MMFF 2024 Gabi ng Parangal.
During his speech, he called Bianca his biggest inspiration, saying he wouldn’t have this success without her.
Ruru won the award for his role as prison guard Xavier Gonzaga in the film. Meanwhile, Dennis Trillo, who played the role of prisoner Domingo Zamora, won Best Actor at the awards night.
Directed by Zig Dulay, “Green Bones” took home Best Picture. Here’s where you can watch the film.
