Angelica Panganiban reflected on the highs and lows of her 2024.
The actress shared an Instagram carousel of her year, including shots from her USA and Siargao weddings with Gregg Homan, memories with her daughter Bean, time with friends like Glaiza De Castro, and a screenshot of her messages with her late mom Annabelle, who passed away in August.
She said it was “How I want to remember the year that was.”
“Nagsimula sa napakaligaya. Umabot sa pinaka masakit. Paulit-ulit ang dasal ko na patuloy kong maintindihan at matanggap ang lahat ng nangyari,” Angelica wrote.
She added that she knows time will help her feel lighter again.
“Sabi nila, hindi matatapos ang grieving. Dahan-dahan lang mababawasan ang bigat,” she said.
However, Angelica said she wants to look back on the past year filled with gratitude.
“Maraming dasal ang natupad,” she said.
Angelica gave a special shoutout to the people in her life, especially to Gregg and her friends.
“Kaibigan na hindi napagod maging kaibigan sa kabila ng pagkakaron ko ng mabigat at madilim na ulap. Lalo na sa asawa ko,” she said. “Paniguradong hindi ito ang unang taon na na-imagine niya. Ni hindi kami nakapag-honeymoon.”
Angelica said she is looking at 2025 as a time for new chances.
“Hindi para makalimot. Taon ito para ipakita kung paano ako pinatibay ng nakaraang taon,” she said.
The actress added that she initially did not plan on posting a recap, but wanted to do it to be an inspiration as one of the people tested by 2024.
“Para sa lahat ng dinaot last year, sabay-sabay tayong bumangon dishyir,” she said.
