And Goa’s Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte rightly pointed out the importance of tourism to boost Goa’s economy, with its two airports significantly improving connectivity, making it easier for visitors to reach the coastal paradise. On December 30, Khaunte said that the ongoing tourist season has been outstanding, with four-star and five-star hotels nearly reaching full occupancy.
Efforts to expand into new tourism sectors such as eco-tourism, spiritual tourism, and regenerative tourism are enhancing the visitor experience and benefiting local communities, Khaunte added.
