The incident occurred in the company’s Jammu unit located in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
There were no casualties reported as a result of the fire, which damaged inventories, plant and machinery, buildings and furniture.

Till such time operations resume in the Jammu unit, the northern market will be served by third-party manufacturing units located at Hisar and Karnal, the company informed.
“… we would like to inform you that the company has adequate insurance coverage and have informed the insurance company about the incident and coordinating with them for ascertaining the loss/damage caused due to the fire,” Prataap Snacks said.
Prataap Snacks reported a profit of ₹6.15 crore against ₹16.52 crore last year. This represents a decline of 62.7% YoY. For Q2 FY25, PSL reported revenue from operations of ₹438.75 crore, compared with ₹431.47 crore last year.

The company posted an operating EBITDA of ₹19.2 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 4.3%. Profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹6.2 crore, while the diluted earnings per share (EPS) was ₹2.58.
For the first half of FY25, PSL posted revenue from operations of ₹86.25 crore. The company recorded an operating EBITDA of ₹49.2 crore, reflecting a margin of 5.7%. PAT for H1 FY25 was ₹15.6 crore, with a diluted EPS of ₹6.52.
Shares of Prataap Snacks Ltd ended at ₹1,103.50, down by ₹18.30, or 1.63%, on the BSE.
