Venchi, one of Italy’s beloved gourmet chocolatiers and gelato manufacturers, just made the Philippines sweeter with its first store’s arrival in Bonifacio Global City.
For those who genuinely appreciate a luxurious shopping experience, Venchi’s gorgeous choco-gelateria in BGC’s Central Square will take you through a chocolate journey.
Upon arrival, guests will be enchanted by its shop windows filled with colorful cones and an extensive display of chocolate bars and Venchi’s iconic gourmet chocolates, such as Nougatine, Cremino 1878, Pannacotta & Caramel, Chocaviar 75%, and Chocaviar Pistacchio.
Aside from its renowned chocolates, Venchi is introducing a delightful range of gelato to the Philippines, all freshly made and available in over 12 exciting flavors, including strawberry, cappuccino, and vanilla, among others.
Speaking to GMA News Online, Venchi CEO for Asia Pacific Marco Galimberti said they have Filipino customers worldwide, which prompted them to eventually expand to the Philippines.
“Lots of our customers outside the Philippines are Filipinos,” he said. “Filipinos who travel to Singapore, Hong Kong, and even Italy.”
“Filipinos have a sweet tooth, and if you want to be a global brand in Asia, it’s [Philippines] a big market, it’s a big population, it’s a booming economy, you have more skyscrapers than in Milan,” he added.
Aside from BGC, Venchi is set to open another branch in The Podium in Ortigas in December.
Philippines aside, Venchi, established in 1878 in Italy, has stores in Japan, China, Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and Indonesia.
Venchi is located at the second floor of Central Square, Bonifacio Global City.
