Jennylyn Mercado will always be her husband Dennis Trillo‘s biggest fan.
On Instagram, the Kapuso actress shared some snaps of her with the Kapuso Dream King taken during the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival Gabi ng Parangal on Friday, where won the Best Actor Award for his role in “Green Bones.”
Among the photos she uploaded is a snap of Dennis happily staring at his trophy.
“Congratulations, mahal ko! [Dennis Trillo] I’m so proud of you! You are really phenomenal and I will forever be your biggest fan. I love you, our Best Actor!” Jennylyn wrote.
In a separate Instagram post, Jennylyn shared a photo of her and Dennis hugging each other as he held his trophy in his hand.
“Proud of you always,” she wrote.
Dennis’ co-star, Ruru Madrid, also won Best Supporting Actor at the Gabi ng Parangal, while Sienna Stevens was named Best Child Performer.
The film also won Best Picture, Best Screenplay (Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza), and Best Cinematography (Neil Daza).
“Green Bones” is based on an original story by JC Rubio, senior documentary manager of GMA Public Affairs.
It follows prisoner Domingo Zamora (Dennis) who is notorious for the murder of his sister and her daughter. Now that Domingo is up for parole, newly assigned prison guard (Ruru) takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars no matter what.
“Green Bones” also stars Michael De Mesa, Alessandra De Rossi, Ronnie Lazaro, Kylie Padilla, Mikoy Morales, Gerhard Acao, Iza Calzado, Sofia Pablo, and more.
