The changes, including enhancements to popular plans and new benefits, aim to strengthen Vi’s position in a competitive telecom market.
Superhero Plans
Vi’s Superhero Plans, designed for high-data usage customers, have been updated with improved benefits. These plans are available in key regions, including Maharashtra, New Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Punjab, and Haryana, starting at ₹365.
Customers subscribing to plans such as ₹365, ₹379, ₹407, ₹539, ₹649, ₹1599 (2.5GB/day), or ₹3699 (50GB extra for 90 days) will now enjoy unlimited data usage from midnight to noon, a feature aimed at catering to the data-heavy schedules of younger users.
In a statement, Vi said, “This plan strengthens our appeal to data-loving youth, offering better benefits tailored to their schedules.”
Hero Unlimited Plans
The Hero Unlimited Plans, available across all circles, continue to offer unlimited night binge data and other benefits.
Key plans include:
- ₹349: 1.5GB/day + 5GB additional data for 3 days
- ₹579: 5GB additional data for 3 days
- ₹1,749: 30GB additional data for 45 days
- ₹3,499: Long-term validity with extensive data benefits
Popular Prepaid Plans
Vi has also introduced and revised several prepaid plans, catering to a wide range of customer needs:
- ₹719 Plan: Valid for 72 days, this plan offers unlimited voice calls, 1GB/day, and 100 SMS/day. Post daily data usage, speeds drop to 64 Kbps.
- ₹289 Plan: Offers unlimited voice calls, 4GB total data, and 600 SMSes over 40 days. Additional data is charged at ₹0.50/MB.
- ₹249 Plan: Valid for 24 days, this plan includes unlimited voice calls, 1GB/day, and 100 SMS/day.
- ₹138 Plan: Provides 10 local on-net night minutes and 100MB of data, valid for 20 days. Night minutes are applicable from 11 PM to 6 AM.
- ₹128 Plan: Similar to the ₹138 plan but valid for 18 days.
Vi One Portfolio: Premium Plans
Two premium plans under the Vi One Portfolio have been introduced, offering broadband and OTT subscriptions along with traditional telecom benefits:
₹1,112 Plan: Includes unlimited calls, 2GB/day, 100 SMS/day, and a 90-day validity. Subscribers also receive SonyLIV Mobile + TV and Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscriptions for 90 days
₹4,219 Plan: Offers unlimited calls, 2GB/day, and 100 SMS/day for 365 days, along with SonyLIV Mobile + TV and Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscriptions for one year.
Both plans include Hero Unlimited benefits and are available in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.
With these updates, Vodafone Idea said it aims to strengthen its market position by offering tailored plans for diverse customer segments, from high-data users to those seeking long-term value.
