The initiative allows individual or group entries (with a maximum of three members per group) in the Prototype category under these themes: software-tech innovations, agriculture and climate change, and community development. Participants can register online.
The competition will be conducted in three phases, culminating in the finale in New Delhi on June 8. Winners have a shot at winning scholarships and prizes worth up to ₹35 lakh.
vivo said the initiative has the backing of the Central Institute of Educational Technology-NCERT (CIET-NCERT), IIT-Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, and the UN Global Compact Network India (UN GCNI).
The top 200 shortlisted participants will get to attend workshops, one-on-one mentoring and skilling sessions. The Top 10 ideas will advance to the final phase.
Geetaj Channana, Head of Corporate Strategy at vivo India, called the initiative “a commitment to building a future where innovation and sustainability go hand-in-hand”.
“By empowering young visionaries with the tools, mentorship, and platform they need, we aim to transform groundbreaking ideas into tangible solutions that address real-world challenges,” he said.
