Pokwang’s daughter Mae revealed on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” that she got mad at her mom’s ex-partner Lee O’Brian for hurting her mother.
The commedienne and her daughter graced Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk” where they talked about their mother-daughter relationship.
During the show, Mae recalled doing an interview with Lee back when his relationship with Pokwang was new. “I told him, ‘Ingatan mo ‘yung mama ko kasi for 21 years, kaming dalawa lang.’ Wala kaming ibang kasama sa buhay, so ang gusto ko lang, ingatan niya sa mama at huwag niyang sasaktan,” Mae said.
According to Mae, Lee promised her that he would not hurt Pokwang. It was a promise that Mae held on to.
“Pero in the end he broke his promise,” said Mae.
Pokwang’s daughter also recalled how Lee wanted to kick her out of their house after learning she was pregnant in 2020.
“Nagulat po ako na gusto akong palayasin ng ex niya [Pokwang] sa house cause I got pregnant without getting married. He wanted me out of the house, and I don’t know why,” Mae said.
“Tsaka between me and him, parang ako ‘yung mas may karapatan na nasa bahay, hindi siya. Kung tutuusin,” she added.
Pokwang and Lee had a hairy breakup in 2021 that saw Pokwang defending Lee against third party rumors. She later admitted that she lied in the hopes that they could perhaps save their relationship.
Previously, the Kapuso comedienne alleged on Ogie Diaz’s vlog that O’Brian was violent with her.
In December 2023, Pokwang won the deportation case she filed against O’Brian. The American national was deported from the Philippines in April.
