Ramky Infra secures ₹215 crore contract for sewage treatment plants in Hyderabad

Ramky Infrastructure Limited has announced the receipt of a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for a ₹215.08 crore contract from the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB).

The project entails the manning, operation, and maintenance of sewage treatment plants (STPs) and connecting interception and diversion systems under HMWSSB’s jurisdiction for a five-year period.

The company disclosed that the project does not involve related party transactions and is classified as a domestic contract under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) 2015.

This contract is valued at ₹215.08 crore (exclusive of taxes) and is set to strengthen Ramky’s portfolio in the water and wastewater management sector.

Separately, both the NSE and BSE issued warning letters to Ramky Infrastructure yesterday, advising compliance with applicable regulations concerning the conduct of risk management committee meetings. The company held its last two such meetings on 10 August 2023 and 12 February 2024, exceeding the permissible gap of 180 days.

On the stock front, shares of Ramky Infrastructure Ltd closed at ₹601.10, up by 0.17%, on the BSE but ended in the negative on the NSE.
