Fellow Ozians, the “Wicked” fever isn’t over yet!
The “Wicked” special sing-along experience is coming to Philippine cinemas on January 8.
If you weren’t able to belt out to “Defying Gravity,” “The Wizard and I,” and “Popular,” among others, during the musical film’s premiere previously, then now’s your chance to do so.
According to Universe Pictures Philippines, tickets to the “Wicked” sing-along screenings are now available, so make sure to check the ticketing sites of your local theater of choice to reserve tickets.
“Wicked,” starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, premiered in Philippine cinemas on November 20. The film follows Glinda (Ariana) and Elphaba (Cynthia) on their self-discovery journeys at Shiz University.
Directed by Jon Chu, it is the first part of Universal’s film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical of the same name.
Its cast also includes Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh (Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldbum (the Wizard), Jonathan Bailey (Fiyero), Ethan Slater (Boq), Peter Dinklage (Doctor Dillamond), and Marissa Bode (Nessarose).
The musical film’s second act, officially titled “Wicked: For Good,” is set to be released on November 21, 2025.
