Heart Evangelista‘s husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, has always been supportive when it comes to his wife’s hobbies and career.
During the latest episode of “Heart World” on Saturday, the Global Fashion Icon described Chiz as her “archangel” during fashion week events.
“So ‘pag fashion week, iba talaga kapag nandyan ‘yung asawa kong si Chiz kasi kahit pagod kami, ‘yung mayroon kaming archangel na nakabantay sa amin,” Heart said.
According to Heart, every time Chiz is with her and her team, the lawmaker would do the grocery shopping and cooking. He is also Heart’s photographer.
“‘Yung asawa ko, mahilig talaga siya magluto, siya talaga ‘yung gumagawa ng mga dito sa bahay, ako lang ‘yung pampaganda ng bahay. So kapag Paris Fashion Week siya talaga ‘yung nag-go-grocery, siya ‘yung nagluluto at na-e-enjoy niya ‘yon kasi ang dami niyang nakakasalubong na mga Pinoy,” she added.
As much as they want Chiz to be with them in Paris Fashion Week the whole time, Heart acknowledges that her husband is still a politician that has a duty to the country.
Being the supportive and caring husband he is, Chiz will cook meals that can be eaten for days before he leaves for Manila to work again.
Heart and Chiz got married in 2015. In February, the couple renewed their vows in Balesin Island.
Previously, Heart opened up about her marriage with Chiz, saying that she almost gave up on their relationship at some point in her life.
“Heart World” aired its debut episode on October 26. It airs on GMA Network on Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. after “Magpakailanman.”
