Pokarna anticipates growth in US market, targets 15-25% revenue increase for FY25
Telangana-based granite and quartz player Pokarna is optimistic about a business improvement in the US market over the next year, which is expected to positively impact its financial performance. The US is a critical market for the company, accounting for over 90% of its revenue.

Paras Jain, CEO of Pokarna, expressed confidence in the market’s prospects, highlighting a general improvement in economic conditions and an expected rebound in the commercial sector.

Jain cited political developments, including the potential return of Donald Trump and the anticipation surrounding new construction projects that had been delayed. “A lot of our customers and channels are telling us that builders are revisiting their projects, and groundbreaking is expected to gain momentum once the new president takes office and provides further economic clarity,” Jain added.

He remains optimistic that FY26 will be a strong year, both for the US economy and for Pokarna.

Looking ahead, Pokarna has set a target for a 15-25% revenue growth for FY25, with the quartz business expected to grow by 30-35%

. In contrast, the granite segment is projected to experience more muted growth.

Jain highlighted that the company sees greater growth potential and visibility in its quartz business. In contrast, the granite segment faces challenges, particularly due to fluctuating demand from China and the shrinking application of the product both globally and in India.

Despite these issues, Pokarna is focused on minimising losses and adjusting its granite business to a more sustainable level for the long term.

For the first half of FY25, Pokarna reported a revenue of ₹443.83 crore, with a robust margin of 33.2%.

The company, which has a market capitalisation of ₹3,788 crore, has seen its shares rise 155% over the last year.
