The all-rounder addressed a press conference on Saturday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, but as reported by 9News, Jadeja didn’t answer any questions in English. In a video doing rounds on social media, Jadeja could be seen speaking in Hindi about the previous encounter in Brisbane. As he left the podium, the Australian journalists were baffled as the all-rounder didn’t take any English questions.
The video also shows Team India’s media manager getting into an argument with the local journalists, citing that Jadeja couldn’t answer any more questions as the team bus was leaving.
Earlier on Thursday, the video of Virat Kohli’s heated argument with a TV journalist went viral on social media. The former Indian captain was miffed because he thought he was being filmed with his children at the airport.
“With my kids, I need some privacy, yeah? You just can’t film without asking me,” he said in the video.
As reported by Channel 7, Kohli had a heated argument with an Australian TV journalist after spotting video cameras pointed towards his children.
“It was upon seeing the waiting cameras that Kohli became a little heated over what is largely a misunderstanding when he thought the media was filming him with his children,” Channel 7 reporter Theo Doropoulos said.
Meanwhile, India kicked off their training session at the Melbourne Cricket Ground where they will lock horns with Australia in the fourth Test of the ongoing series. After the Gabba encounter yielded no result, the series remains poised at 1-1.
