Payal Kapadia’s Golden Globe-nominated All We Imagine as Light has caught the former US president’s attention. He has recommended it as one of the top 10 movies of 2024.

The list features a diverse range of films, including Edward Berger’s Conclave, Malcolm Washington’s The Piano Lesson and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two.

Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine as Light has been garnering appreciation across the globe after its release in September. The film made history after its Grand Prix win at the Cannes Film Festival. Payal Kapadia became the first Indian filmmaker in 30 years to feature in Cannes’ main competition section.
The film stars Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam and Hridhu Haroon. The movie highlights the struggles and journey of a nurse and her friend to find a place of their own in Mumbai.
