Ashish Jakhanwala, Chairman, Managing Director and CEO at Samhi Hotels, explained that demand for hotel rooms is growing faster than supply, creating opportunities for steady revenue growth.

“Growth is imminent,” Jakhanwala said, adding that hotel rates in India still have room to increase. “Our long-term forecast shows annual revenue growth in high single digits to low double digits. This is just the beginning,” he noted.

Jakhanwala also highlighted that while some short-term fluctuations may occur, the overall performance of hotels is expected to remain strong. “We’ve seen double-digit growth even on a high base from events like the G20 and the World Cup last year. This growth is more sustainable,” he said.

Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director & Area Senior Vice President – South Asia at Radisson Hotels

, joined the conversation with Ashish Jakhanwala, noting that November was a record-breaking month for the brand in terms of revenue and growth.

He said December is likely to surpass November, making this quarter the best ever in the brand’s history.

Both companies project double-digit revenue growth for the October-December quarter of 2024-25 (FY25) for same-store hotels over last year.
