PM Modi launches Kumbh Sah’AI’yak AI chatbot; Bhavish Aggarwal’s Krutrim to assist

Bhavish Aggarwal-founded artificial intelligence startup Krutrim AI will provide large language model (LLM) services for the Kumbh Sah’AI’yak chatbot, which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, December 13.

The chatbot has been tasked to provide updates on the various events and guide devotees during the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.

“@Krutrim will provide LLM services for Kumbh Sah’AI’yak app – AI chatbot launched by Hon. PM @narendramodi ji today,” Aggarwal wrote on social media site X.

The chatbot, according to him, will redefine devotees’ experience in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj city.

“This chatbot for #MahaKumbh2025 will redefine the experience of all the devotees in Prayagraj, marking a milestone in uniquely Indian cultural-tech convergence,” he added.

In his post, Aggarwal also shared a video demonstrating the use of the AI chatbot.

The innovative chatbot has been developed to enrich the Maha Kumbh Mela journey of the devotees and pilgrims by making the sacred experience seamless and accessible for millions.

Further, the AI-based platform is expected to streamline communication for devotees, who are scheduled to attend the Maha Kumbh.

While inaugurating various developmental projects, Prime Minister Modi termed the Maha Kumbh 2025 as a “maha yagya of unity” that would take India’s cultural and spiritual identity to new heights.

He also noted that the differences of castes and sects disappear at the Maha Kumbh. “It will take the country’s cultural and spiritual identity to new heights,” PTI quoted PM Modi as saying.

At the event, Modi inaugurated 167 key development projects worth ₹5,500 crore that are aimed at improving Prayagraj’s infrastructure for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 .

The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025  is all set to begin on the auspicious occasion of Paush Poornima on January 13, 2025, and will continue until February 26 (Maha Shivratri) at Prayagraj. It is organised once every 12 years.
