On the domestic front, while the Allu Arjun film has already beaten the likes of Jawan and Kalki 2898 AD, it is now set to surpass the lifetime record of Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 and SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
With the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s holidays, Pushpa 2 is expected to dominate the screens until the end of the year.
It is worth mentioning that the film’s collections remained unaffected after the arrest of Allu Arjun in connection to a tragic stampede that took place during Pushpa 2’s premiere.
The actor was arrested on Friday night and was released in the morning on an interim bail by the High Court. While speaking to the media, Allu Arjun thanked his fans for their support and assured them he would cooperate with the police.
