No Names — This new dating app promises real connections in 30 seconds

A new dating app, No Names, is set to debut on December 15, 2024, aiming to transform digital interactions by prioritising real-life connections over endless swiping and chats.

Designed for young professionals and Gen Z users in India, the app promises to help users forge meaningful relationships within 30 seconds.

Founder and CEO Kanav Puri calls it “dating reimagined.” “We’re cutting through the digital noise to bring back authenticity. With real-time verification, secure meetups, and a focus on genuine connections, No Names isn’t just another dating app—it’s a movement,” Puri said.

The app leverages an AI-powered matchmaking algorithm to connect users based on shared interests while ensuring privacy. Security features include national ID verification, facial recognition, and an SOS panic button. A dedicated team is said to manually verify profiles on a curated waitlist to maintain a safe and trustworthy environment.

According to the company, any government-authorised ID you share with the app is verified by a trusted third-party vendor. Additionally, all user data is securely stored on Amazon’s servers.

No Names also plans to expand beyond dating by offering options for group meetups, such as arcade visits, picnics, concerts, and fine dining experiences, catering to users looking for friends or new social circles.

Accessibility is a key part of the app’s mission, with women able to use the platform for free and subscription plans starting at 250 per week. Discounts on longer-term subscriptions encourage users to engage with the platform regularly.
