Aside from her grace and wit, Chelsea Manalo also showed her hidden talent during the preliminary interviews of the Miss Universe 2024 pageant.
On Thursday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” the Bulakenya shared her experience during the interview with the panel, including singing “A Whole New World,” the theme song of the Disney animated film “Aladdin.”
“It was really a rewarding feeling kasi I knew right there and then, we were so close to it. Hindi lang naman ‘yung skills mo, or what you can do on stage, but really your personality,” Chelsea said.
“So when I was there being interviewed, I showed each and every judge my personality, my bubbly side. I even remember, I sang one to one of the judges, ‘A Whole New World,'” she added.
Chelsea recalled that upon meeting the panel of judges, one judge told her “You’re from the Philippines and every Filipino loves karaoke,” which prompted the Filipina beauty queen to sing “A Whole New World.”
Of course her guesting will not be complete without her singing some few lines of the song.
She also delivered an answer to the final question of the Miss Universe 2024 pageant.
Chelsea ended her campaign in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in the Top 30. During a post-pageant press conference, she was named Miss Universe Asia.
Chelsea arrived in Manila earlier this week and is set to travel around Asia and will also be part of some of the official trips of the Miss Universe organization.
