Directed by Sukumar, the action drama raked in roughly ₹42 crore on Wednesday (December 11), taking its total collection in the domestic market to ₹687 crore, according to industry tracker sacnilk.com.
As per the data, the Hindi version of the film dominated at the box office and collected ₹30 crore, followed by the Telugu version at ₹9 crore. The film minted ₹2 crore from the Tamil version, while Kannada and Malayalam stood at ₹60 lakh and ₹40 lakh, respectively.
The film had an overall Hindi occupancy of 32.69% and the Tamil occupancy stood at 29.92%, followed by 20.32% in Tamil, 25.96% in Kannada and 8.84% in Malayalam.
On Wednesday, Mythri Movie Makers, the production banner behind the film, announced that Pushpa 2: The Rule has re-written history at the box office.

The
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer hit the cinemas on December 5 (Thursday) and broke several records on its opening day, collecting ₹164.25 crore.
This was followed by ₹93.8 crore on the second day (Friday), while the numbers significantly jumped over the weekends and reached ₹119.24 crore and ₹141.05 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Later, the film witnessed a dip and collected ₹64.45 crore on Monday, followed by ₹52.4 crore on Tuesday.
Pushpa 2: The Rule, a sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, sees Allu Arjun return in his iconic role of Pushpa Raj and continues his journey as the leader of the red sandalwood smuggling syndicate.
Rashmika Mandanna returns as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil stands strong as the police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
The film also features Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Rao Ramesh, among others.
The film has already beaten Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan, Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2, Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 as well as Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s recent release, Stree 2.
