The vlogger, who identifies as Bangladeshi, had put a similar video of another woman on a beach. The timeline on the vlogger’s account suggests that the videos were posted around nine months ago.
Responding to the post on X, the Goa police wrote, “Cyber police station has been directed to enquire into the matter.” A senior official from the cybercrime cell told PTI that a vlogger is being investigated for his acts during his visit to the state.

“We will take appropriate action once the probe is complete,” the officer was quoted as saying.
Shack owners in Goa have often complained of domestic tourists troubling foreigners. One owner said, “Men come to shacks and ogle at foreign women. They take photos and videos and post them online. This behaviour should stop. This is not what Goa is about. These men should realise that it makes women uncomfortable when such acts are done.
The police have stepped up patroling on beaches especially in the north belt and are conducting women’s safety awareness campaigns on beaches.
