Candy Pangilinan expressed her “heartfelt gratitude” to those who helped locate her son Quentin after he got lost at Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan City.
In a Facebook post, the actress-comedienne thanked those who reached out, messaged, and prayed.
“Just minutes after I posted, we found Quentin!” Candy wrote.
“I would also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the security guards of Greenhills Shopping Mall. Their patience and assistance in helping me look for Quentin meant so much during this stressful time,” she added.
Candy gave a special thanks to the group of teachers who found Quentin and knew what to do to help him.
“Most of all, I thank God for the heaven-sent group of teachers who found Quentin. They recognized that he needed help, and their quick action made all the difference. Isang pagbubunyi muli sa lahat ng guro! Your sensitivity and ‘malasakit’ are truly encompassing. Mabuhay kayo!”
On Thursday night at 6:52 p.m., Candy posted on Facebook, “Nawawala si Quentin. Pa help pls. We are at Greenhills. Bigla siya tumakbo kasama driver.”
By 7:01 p.m., Candy posted that they found Quentin thanks to “kind girls.”
Quentin is a neurodivergent child. Apart from being a mom, Candy also serves as his playmate and teacher.
Last week, Candy acted as herself in an episode of “Magpakailanman,” with Euwenn Mikaell and Will Ashley as Quentin.
In June, Quentin graduated from senior high school and received the Most Cheerful Award. In 2022, Quentin also finished junior high school with two special awards: Enthusiastic Learner Award and Reading Rockstar Award.
