It’s BTS’s year once again!
The group once again emerged as the global K-pop artist on Spotify Wrapped 2024.
BTS retained their spot on top, followed by its member Jungkook. Rounding up the five artists are Stray Kids, BTS’s Jimin, and NewJeans.
Meanwhile, other BTS members – V and Agust D (Suga), also made it to the list at seventh and 20th place, respectively.
Jimin’s song “WHO,” which he released in July emerged as Spotify’s K-pop song of the year, followed by Jungkook’s “Seven (feat Latto),” and “Standing Next To You,” in second and third place, respectively. Completing the top five K-pop tracks are “Love Me Again” by V and “Magnetic” by ILLIT.
Other BTS songs on the list are “FRI(END)S” by V (no. 7), “Like Crazy” by Jimin (no. 8), “3D (feat. Jack Harlow)” by Jung Kook (no. 9), “Haegeum” by Agust D (no. 19), and “The Astronaut” by Jin (no. 20).
Earlier, Spotify also released its top local artist list with rising Pinoy hip-hop star Hev Abi and Nation’s Girl Group BINI dominating the Philippine charts.
Meanwhile, the Philippines Top Artist of 2024 is Taylor Swift, followed by Hev Abi, Ariana Grande, BINI, and Bruno Mars.
