Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
Disney has unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming live-action adaptation of the well-loved animated film “Snow White.”
The trailer opened with Snow White, played by Rachel Zegler, in the castle during a confrontation scene between her and the Evil Queen, played by Gal Gadot.
It also showed iconic scenes from the classic tale, such as the Evil Queen talking to the magic mirror, Snow White taking the poisoned apple, and Snow White’s moments with the seven dwarfs.
“Magic mirror on the wall, show us the story that started it all,” Disney wrote in the caption.
“Snow White” will be shown in cinemas on March 21, 2025.
The film was initially set premiere in March this year, but Walt Disney previously announced that they have to postpone its release, citing the impact of the ongoing actors strike.
“Snow White” is directed by Marc Webb, the filmmaker behind “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “500 Days of Summer.” The live-action movie is an adaptation of Walt Disney’s 1937 animated film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” which is based on the 19th century fairytale of the same name by the Brothers Grimm.
