EPACK Durable Ltd, an outsourced design manufacturer of room air conditioners, on Tuesday (December 3) said its manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, was subject to a search by officials from the Special Intelligence and Investigation Branch (SIIB), Office of the Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), Jaipur, on December 2.

“…we wish to inform you that the Senior Intelligence Officer and Inspectors of Special Intelligence and Investigation Branch (SIIB), Office of the Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), Jaipur, had initiated a search on December 02, 2024, at 1:00 P.M at the Manufacturing facility of the company situated at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan and concluded their visit on the same day i.e. December 02, 2024, at 7:00 P.M,” EPACK Durable said in a regulatory filing
The search, conducted under the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962, commenced at 1 pm and concluded at 7 pm the same day. The company extended full cooperation to the SIIB officials, providing the necessary assistance and documentation during the search.

The examination focused on the technical specifications of the products manufactured at the facility. Following a thorough review, the officials concluded their visit without seizing any documents or items.
“During this period, the Company extended full cooperation to SIIB officials by providing necessary assistance and documentation as requested. Following a thorough examination of the manufacturing plant, the SIIB officials concluded their visit without seizing any documents or items,” it said.
EPACK Durable clarified that the search did not disrupt its regular operations or result in any financial implications. Shares of Epack Durable Ltd ended at ₹448.20, up by ₹17.40, or 4.04%, on the BSE.
