As per the latest trends,
Pushpa 2: The Rule has sold more than 11.65 lakh tickets for the opening day (December 5) and already raked in ₹49.79 crore.
Pushpa 2: The Rule, a sequel to the 2021 action drama Pushpa: The Rise, is riding high on the success of the first film, while Allu Arjun’s National Award-winning performance as Pushpa Raj has fuelled anticipation among the fans. Moreover, people are eager to witness Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Srivalli and SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
Besides them, the film will also feature Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj among others.
According to a report in The Times of India, analysts are predicting that Pushpa 2: The Rule has the potential to open at ₹200 crore in India and ₹300 crore globally and if that happens, it will easily march past the opening day records that were set by SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
Being a pan-India release, Pushpa 2: The Rule will hit screens worldwide across multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Bengali. Also, it will be released in 2D, 3D, IMAX as well as 4DX format.
Mythri Movie Makers, the production banner behind both instalments, is said to have spent around ₹400-500 crore on the second film, which has been shot across multiple locations in Hyderabad, Vizag, and Japan.
