BAPE has reworked a slew of its signature Bape Check styles, dipping the plaid-printed apparel in bleach. Aptly named the “Bleached Bape Check” capsule, BAPE also whips up two bleached furoshiki bags to complement the clothing.
The bleach splatters are added to elevate the colors and patterns of the imprint’s Bape Check classics, breathing new life into the label’s longtime silhouettes. Hues of red and blue dominate the capsule’s color palette, across apparel which spans zip shirts, three styles of graphic tees and panel caps.
The zip shirts stand out among the range, arriving in red-checkered and blue-checkered options. The zipper runs discreetly down the front of the silhouette and small BAPE insignias are embroidered on the chest and along the bottom’s raw hem. Three classic graphics each land in black and white colorways, and concentrate the bleach detailing to the graphic, keeping the BAPE lettering and sleek silhouette clean.
Paneled caps and furoshiki bags arrive in the same red-checkered and blue-checkered patterns. Caps feature a “BA” insignia in the middle, with the bags polished off with a BAPE logo on the strap.
