Fresh off the release of her new superhero flick, Madame Web, Sydney Sweeney is here to save the day in style. On Monday, the Emmy-nominated star was spotted on the streets of New York City wearing two totally different ensembles that had one thing in common: Both featured strong waist-cinching moments.
On her first outing, Sydney proved that maple tones don’t have to go to the wayside once the trees outside are bare. The Euphoria actor mixed a variety of brown hues, starting with her chocolate leather jacket, which was left unbuttoned, and which she cinched at the waist with a tied belt. Sweeney matched the outerwear with a pair of knee-high pointed-toe boots, which were practically the same color and material.
However, she varied things up a bit with her inner layers, which included a caramel-colored ribbed turtleneck and a pair of russet shorts in a nailhead pattern, pulled over sheer tights. To round out the fit, Sweeney carried a maroon bag with a gold chain top handle and threw on a pair of black browline glasses, adding a sophisticated touch to the already sleek look.
Later that same day, Sweeney was spotted in a different NYC neighborhood in a completely contrasting ensemble. This one consisted of a lavender Tom Ford bodycon dress, which she paired with thigh-high white leather boots with a peep-toe detail. And we can’t forget that cinching detail on the turtleneck design, courtesy of a matching corset belt wrapped around Sweeney’s waist. While outside, the actor accessorized this look with black rectangular sunglasses and a white quilted purse with a silver chain strap.
