He doesn’t need “peace” to be happy.
Travis Kelce responded to a media question about how he and his A-list girlfriend Taylor Swift handle the intense attention surrounding their relationship.
“The only thing we’ve talked about is as long as we’re happy, we can’t listen to anything that’s outside noise,” he said during a press conference Friday. “That’s all that matters.”
The Kansas City Chiefs player’s interview quickly went viral with the singer’s fanbase praising the sweet response.
“Travis is such a great guy,” one fan gushed on X.
“Taylor and Travis are both incredible at what they do and always so kind and generous.”
An emotional user wrote, “My heart. I cannot handle it. I think Taylor fans never knew it could be this good for her.”
“stop it they’re so perfect,” another supporter raved.
Kelce is preparing for Sunday’s AFC championship game against the Baltimore Ravens, which he assured the press is his main focus at the moment.
“You hear the media throughout the year, if we’re not having success, maybe throw it out there that I wasn’t focused or the team isn’t focused on certain things,” he explained.
“If you’re in this building, you know exactly what’s going on.”

The two-time Super Bowl champ continued, “So you’ve got to compartmentalize what you’re hearing and make sure that you’re staying on task and giving everybody in the building and on that team the right perception when you walk in.”
His quarterback and best friend Patrick Mahomes previously asserted to the press that his dedication to the game has not changed since he and the “Cruel Summer” singer got together.
While Swift, 34, has become a regular at Kelce’s games since making her debut appearance at his face-off against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24, 2023, it’s not clear if she will make it this Sunday, as she officially commenced Eras Tour rehearsals this week, according to one of her backup dancers, Natalie Lecznar.
She is set to kick off the next leg of her international tour dates in Tokyo on Feb. 7.
Meanwhile, Kylie Kelce confirmed during a visit to “Good Morning America” on Thursday that she and her husband, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, will watch his brother Travis and the Chiefs take on the Ravens.
Last week, Jason made headlines for his rowdy shirtless antics at his brother’s game and for lifting up a young Swift fan in the stands to meet the singer.
During the subsequent episode of “New Heights,” Travis told Jason that Swift “absolutely loved” his energy.
Travis and the pop superstar have been dating since July 2023 and haven’t been shy about displaying their love.
They held hands in front of cameras during several New York City date nights last fall and kissed behind the stage at the Eras Tour in Argentina.
She even changed a lyric in her song “Karma” during one of her shows to say, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift explained of their PDA during her 2023 Time Person of the Year profile.
“And we’re just proud of each other.”
