STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Featured in this week’s Staten Island’s Best Dressed are photos from the 2024 Staten Island Board of Realtors Installation of the 62nd SIBOR President, Fran Reali of Safari Realty, and of the new board of directors for SIBOR and MLS. The gala event took place on Jan. 11 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bloomfield.
A Staten Island Woman of Achievement, Fran Reali has spent her lifetime serving on countless non-profit boards and advocating for the health of young people in the community and beyond. In 2007, Fran and her husband, Frank Reali, lost their son, Frank Reali III, to an undetected heart condition. Instead of plummeting into despair, the courageous couple instead founded a foundation that provides free early detection, in order to spare other families of the grief they experienced.
Reali has raised money for the Alzheimer’s Association, Community Health Action and the Rotary Club. She served as an ambassador for the Staten Island Economic Development Corp., a member of the World of Women and the Soroptimists, and has been active with the Staten Island Children’s Museum and Project Hospitality.
