Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. This week, the Chiefs host the Miami Dolphins for a Wild Card game on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:15 p.m. Arrowhead Time on Peacock — locally on KSHB/41.
Here is the Chiefs’ first official injury report of the week:

Some notes
- As to be expected, left tackle Wanya Morris (concussion) and wide receiver Justyn Ross (hamstring) did not practice to start Wild Card week.
- Left tackle Donovan Smith (neck), wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hip/ankle) and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed (calf) were limited participants. With Morris out of the mix, Smith’s status on Wednesday is one to monitor.
- The Dolphins did not hold practice, so their Tuesday statuses are estimated.
- Left tackle Terron Armstead (knee/ankle/back), safety DeShone Elliott (calf) and safety Jevon Holland (knees) would not have practiced. Holland explained that he’s “optimistic” that he will play against the Chiefs.
- Cornerback Xavien Howard (foot) would not have practiced — but he’s already been ruled out for the game.
- Miami listed six key players who would have been limited, so we will need to monitor their status when the team actually holds practice on Wednesday. That list includes returning wide receiver Tyreek Hill (ankle/quad).
