Fifth Sapphire Radeon RX 6750 GRE 12GB is a Black Diamond
Gamers in China will soon have a new version of RX 6750 GRE GPU from Sapphire.
AMD has recently unveiled the Radeon RX 6750 GRE series, the RDNA2 desktop models introduced in October. AMD decided to launch two distinct models, sharing the same name but featuring entirely different specifications. Both variations utilize the Navi 22 GPU architecture, yet the 12GB GDDR6 memory variant stands out as superior, boasting more cores compared to its 10GB counterpart (12GB vs. 10GB).
The RX 6750 GRE 12GB has gained significant popularity among board partners, with over 18 models now incorporating the 12GB memory configuration, compared to just four with 10GB. Sapphire, a key player in this lineup, has recently introduced the RX 6750 GRE 12GB “Black Diamond Edition,” marking the fifth version of this particular SKU.
This custom design version doesn’t include any overclocking, maintaining a standard 2439 MHz game clock and a 2581 MHz boost clock. The design draws inspiration from the AURORA edition, featuring a blue color theme and a nearly identical triple-cooling system. It ships with one 8-pin and one 6-pin power connectors, maintaining its 230W typical board power.
The design aesthetic showcases a black diamond grid with gold accents, measuring 31.0×128 mm and requiring 2.5 slots of space. Powering this GPU is the Navi 22 GPU equipped with 2560 Stream Processors, poised to rival NVIDIA’s budget-friendly RTX 4060 desktop model. In official gaming tests at 1440p resolution, the RX 6750 GRE emerges as the clear winner. A detail that is not mentioned is that it also needs twice the power.
It costs 2659 RMB, which is more than AMD’s MSRP for this SKU in China (2379 RMB).
