Red, green, icy white, and sparkly metallic outfits are all well and good, but New Yorkers know you can just as easily be festive in all-black. Emily Ratajkowski proved just that today, when she stepped out in the city wearing a holiday-appropriate look made up of sleek black staples.
The model continued her statement-coat style streak with a chic leather trench with dramatic fur trim at the collar and sleeves. The piece went down to her knees and was cinched at the waist with a matching belt, which she knotted at the front. Under the coat, EmRata wore a matching mock-neck top, flared trousers, and pointy leather boots with kitten heels (you can shop a similar pair at Khaite).
Her accessories were just as chic: long rectangular black sunglasses (see a similar style from Balenciaga) and chunky double-hoop gold earrings. Her hair was styled in a messy low bun, and she wore bronzy makeup.
Ratajkowski has been on a role with her winter style this year, and she notably wore the same fur-lined trench she wore today just last month, on Halloween. (A similar coat, by Karl Lagerfeld, is available at Nordstrom.) Then, she wore the piece with even more leather, in the form of slouchy square-toe knee-high boots with a curved heel. The My Body author continued the monochrome palette with her accessories: a black leather shoulder bag and classic Ray-Ban sunglasses. Her only jewelry for the sexy-spooky look seemed to be a gold ring.
