Through Tonight: Parts of the area may see a colorful sunset as high clouds continue to drift by. Most spots will see upper 50s to low 60s for lows, maybe mid-60s downtown. There could be a touch of fog in the usual spots. Winds are light after dark.

Tomorrow (Saturday): Sunshine rules and sends temperatures upward, perhaps to the peak of this heat spell. Low to mid-80s should do it in many places, assuming we stay sunny enough. Winds are from the west at around 10 mph. You’ll also feel some humidity, with dew points near or above 60.
Saturday’s record high of 83 at Dulles is at some risk, while the 87s in D.C. and Baltimore are probably safe.
Sunday: More clouds, with some showers around as a front sinks our way. It’ll stay to the west, but the additional cloudiness holds temperatures mainly in the mid-70s for highs. We might end up seeing a rather sunny afternoon if we can get rain chances to focus on the morning as it looks for now.
