The Jenners! They’re just like us! They even pump their own gas … in designer boots that cost more than my monthly paycheck!
Kendall Jenner was just papparazzi’d while running a totally relatable errand in a totally not relatable (yet extremely aspirational) outfit. The supermodel turned a random Los Angeles gas station into a runway when she emerged from her car dressed in a luxe navy blue collared dress, featuring delicate white trimming, a belted waist, and a voluminous tiered skirt that photogenically twirled around her knees as she strutted down the oil-slicked pavement.
As for her footwear, Jenner made a statement with a bright yellow and neon-green striped iteration of Bottega Veneta’s woven Canalazzo boots. The Canalazzos come in different styles and silhouettes—among the most popular are ankle booties that cost $4,000, knee-high boots that cost $7,200, and over-the-knee boots that cost $9,500.
For an elegant touch, Jenner carried a long gray clutch under one arm and topped off the entire look with large black sunglasses.
The gas-pumping look is a significant departure from Jenner’s typical street style, which usually favors well-tailored but simplistic pieces over loud and colorful items.
For example, earlier this month, the 818 Tequila founder attended a Forbes event in a smart black skirt suit, which consisted of a boxy double-breasted blazer with a plunging neckline and a glossy column maxi skirt. Prior to that, she sat front row at Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2024 show in a pale beige trench coat minidress, which she sensibly paired with dark crimson slingbacks from Miu Miu and a matching red Gucci Jackie 1961 bag.
