It was date night for Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone during the inauguration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) which was held at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai on Friday (March 31).
Unlike Priyanka Chopra, Deepika opted for traditional Haute Couture, wearing a custom Anamika Khanna embroidered trouser suit featuring a matching cape.
There is a lot going on here. Some might say too much, and I’m very much on the fence about it all.
I like that she opted for a traditional designer, and how the look feels so bold, but I can’t say I’m all that enamoured by the embroidery on this occasion, even though the colours are complementary to the settings.
A Maang Tika tiara completes her look.
Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh’s traditional look was in stark contrast, but I like how mellow his look was in comparison.
