We all know that Gwyneth Paltrow’s black coffee, bone broth, and veggie diet is controversial. But now, the goop founder is opening up her fridge for further criticism—as if fans didn’t have enough to say about it already.
On Friday, Paltrow took to her lifestyle brand’s Instagram account to give followers a sneak peak of what’s *actually* in her fridge. “I’m not going to lie, I cleaned it up before I invited you in here, but this is really kind of the stuff that I have in my fridge,” she joked in the video.
Now, the actual contents of her fridge weren’t all that groundbreaking. In fact, it was almost as if she was trying to debunk some of those diet shamers on the internet. It was brimming with milks (half and half, almond milk, regular milk, you name it), and leftovers, including a butter chicken and veggie burgers.
Of course, that did not stop the haters from flooding the comment section regardless.
“Where’s all the regular food?” one user asked. Another person that same sentiment, writing, “Where’s the actual food? It’s all drinks.”
“It’s not a trend, people are concerned that you don’t eat and you basically proved it ,” a third person said.
Food—or, according to fans, the lack of a food—isn’t the only theme of Paltrow’s fridge. It’s also where she stores her skincare products.
“This is a new thing I started doing, is moisturizer in the fridge,” she said, noting that it “feels amazing.” The serums, Gua Sha, and face cream are also hidden between cans of Avaline wine.
“So, that wraps up my fridge tour,” she concluded the video. “Do you feel like you’ve gotten to know me any better?”
