The Chuck Jones Gallery is doing things a little differently this year, and bringing their activations, artwork, and special appearances inside the convention center for San Diego Comic-Con 2023.
You’ll find them at Booth #1815, where they’ll be joined by Chuck Jones artist Ben Olson, and animation artist Dan Boweden. There will be special appearances throughout the week including the legendary voice actor Eric Bauza (the current voice of many of your favorite characters including Buggs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety Bird, Pepé Le Pew, and more), and The Simpsons animator Stephen Reis, along with other exclusive art and appearances.
There will also be art featured from all major animation studios, including Marvel, DC Comics, and Alan Bodner.
Animation fans will want to check out the Acme Labs AR experience and the first-ever transmedia art collection, including the new line of Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera backgrounds.
Outside of the convention floor, the Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park will be hosting an exclusive “Chuck Jones Center for Creativity Big Draw” featuring Marvin Martian on Friday, July 21 from 2:30pm-4:45pm. Attendees at the museum will get to build their own Martian Maggot paper air rocket, learn to draw Bugs Bunny, and enjoy several more interactive creativity experiences for the entire family.
The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides art-based creativity experiences that unleashes the creative genius in people of all ages.
