Buff Monster and the Minions meet again. After an initial capsule back in 2016, the street artist is once again pairing his Melty Misfit gang up with the beloved yellow characters in a limited-edition Minions x Buff Monster apparel capsule.
Buff Monster X Minions
The capsule spatters Buff Monster’s signature aesthetic about a series of graphic tees, tanks and loungewear, intermingling the artist’s vibrant palette and ice cream iconography with that of Kevin, Bob and Stuart.
One tee stages the Minions alongside Buff Monster’s Mister Melty, who holds a flag stamped with a banana. A purple-hued hoodie features a minion grabbing hold of Mister Melty’s head, with “Hello” printed down the right sleeve.
“I’ve always loved the Minions and how playful and expressive they are, so for this new collection, I was intrigued by the idea of having my ice cream characters, generally referred to as Mister Melty or The Melty Misfits, interact with the Minions in fun and dynamic ways,” Buff Monster explained in a release.
“We focused on combining Minions Bob, Kevin and Stuart with my characters in surprising and unexpected compositions, using an assortment of bold key graphics and patterns.”
Prices on the capsule range from $25 to $125 USD.
