Euphoria‘s next series might not air until 2025, but Sydney Sweeney is on top of the world right now. The 26-year-old actress, who rose to fame as troubled cheerleader Cassie on the teen drama, has done everything from appearing in hard-hitting indie movie Reality to topping the US box office with rom-com Anyone But You.
Fresh from starring in female-fronted super hero movie Madame Web, the former Cosmo UK cover star has just fronted Saturday Night Live for the first time! Sydney, who is perhaps best known for her roles in critically acclaimed dramas, used the opportunity to flex her comedic skills and to crack jokes about her on-screen chemistry with Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell and the romance between the pair that fans wish really existed IRL.
But, naturally, on top of her performance, Sydney also gave us plenty of fashion to marvel over! One of our faves came from the promotional material for the episode, namely a video which Sydney shared to her Instagram, showing her performing in a burlesque-style routine in an oversized martini glass.
While paying homage to Dita Von Teese, Sydney was rocking a scarlet red satin bustier that featured frilled embellishment at the leg and a plunging neckline. Jumping on the “no trousers” trend, she opted for a pair of low denier tights and stilettos in lieu of a skirt of trousers.
Accessorising the boudoir chic ‘fit, Sydney opted for a pair of matching opera gloves, tousled waves, red lipstick and statement earrings.
