A new Avengers team forms in MCU fan art, imagining Earth’s Mightiest Heroes going up against a powerful new villain. Originally comprising only six superheroes, the Avengers team has grown exponentially as the MCU has developed over the last decade-and-a-half. While the team was last seen battling the Mad Titan Thanos and his armies in Avengers: Endgame, the Avengers are set to reform in the MCU’s Phase 6, potentially going up against Kang the Conqueror in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and dealing with multiversal devastation in Avengers: Secret Wars. Following this, however, the team could face an even greater threat.
After The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars bring the Multiverse Saga to a close, it’s unclear whether the Avengers will still be the focus of the MCU’s crossover events. Even so, a fan-made poster shared by Hazzaa Jarrar imagines Avengers 7 adapting a battle between an interesting, new Avengers team and the cosmic entity Eternity.
The art pits heroes such as the Hulk, Doctor Strange, Wolverine, Mister Fantastic, Captain Marvel, Nova and Ghost Rider against the powerful cosmic being, bringing together members of future Avengers, X-Men, and other superhero teams to take on a villain more powerful than any previous.

Eternity Needs To Return To The MCU After Thor: Love & Thunder
Eternity’s Comic Legacy Deserves a Faithful Adaptation
Despite being one of the most powerful beings in the universe in Marvel Comics, Eternity’s live-action adaptation in 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder completely downgraded the entity. Instead of being practically all-powerful, Eternity was made into something of a wishing well, though it would only grant one wish to the individual who found it first – which happened to be Gorr the God Butcher. This massive change didn’t make much sense, so it would be great to see Eternity return in the MCU’s future to retcon this storyline, reintroducing itself as a significant element in the fabric of the MCU.

While the character has more regularly been seen to be an ally to the Marvel Universe’s heroes, Marvel Studios could easily transform Eternity into a supervillain, and potentially pit the being against Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in a future Avengers project. After Love and Thunder, it seems as though Thor’s new daughter, Love, has the powers of Eternity, which could be pivotal to the MCU’s future.
