Supreme is known to lend its signature box logo to a luxury designer each season. Over the years, Supreme’s high-fashion partners have spanned COMME des GARÇONS to Buberry, and perhaps the buzziest among them was its Louis Vuitton collaboration in 2017. Last fall, the streetwear brand collaborated with Italy’s Stone Island on a line of high-end outerwear; and last spring, the label worked with Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER on a range of punkish creations.
Now, according to reliable Supreme leaker account Drops by Jay, Maison Margiela is rumored to become the latest addition to the opulent list, as part of Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
At the time of writing, images of the collaboration have not yet surfaced. However, the drop is expected to include a Box Logo Hoodie, skateboard decks “and much more,” per Drops by Jay. Based on the brand’s previous designer collaborations, it’s likely that this next edition will also include a wide array of co-branded apparel and accessories. It wouldn’t be a shock to see some pieces make nods to Supreme’s milestone 30th anniversary, too.
Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more information on the rumored collaboration as it becomes available, and look out for Supreme’s SS24 lookbook in the coming weeks.
