Shamrock Shake season has officially started.
Starting Feb. 5, the St. Patrick’s Day-inspired green shake returns to the menu at McDonald’s for a limited time at participating restaurants while supplies last.
The mint-flavored, green-tinted shake is returning a little ahead of schedule, reports USA Today. Last year, McDonald’s started offering the beverage on Feb. 20.
Also making its return: the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry, a mint-flavored twist on the classic McDonald’s favorite, blended with crushed Oreos. That drink debuted in February 2020 in honor of the Shamrock Shake’s 50th anniversary.
What’s in the Shamrock Shake?
McDonald’s Shamrock Shake is made with creamy vanilla soft serve, blended with mint syrup and topped with a sweet, whipped topping.
Other items coming back to McDonalds
After a four-year hiatus, McDonald’s is bringing back its Double Big Mac for a limited time at participating locations.
The burger is twice the glory of the fast food classic sandwich, at least in terms of meat. There’s four patties and more Big Mac sauce, but not double the American cheese—there’s only one slice. All that heft is sandwiched between two sesame seed buns.
