Shaedon Sharpe and Deandre Ayton have been listed as out for leg one of the Portland Trail Blazers’ back-to-back home series against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs.
The starting duo were initially listed as questionable for Tuesday’s win against the Sacramento Kings. They are confirmed as out against the Spurs who play in Portland on Thursday and Friday night.
Sharpe is battling a right adductor strain, which has kept him out of three and a half games. Ayton is dealing with left knee tendinitis, which also plagued him earlier in the season.
Justin Minaya and Rayan Rupert are out due to Rip City Remix responsibilities with Kris Murray potentially joining them.
Wembanyama is not on the Spurs injury report but reports suggest he won’t play both games.
The Blazers and Spurs will meet at the Moda Center on Thursday and Friday nights with both games tipping off at 7pm.
