AMD RX 7600 XT coming late January
Finally, new Radeon GPU.
Yesterday, we mentioned that there is a chatter about the potential launch of the Radeon RX 7600 XT, and this information has now been corroborated by Benchlife. According to their sources, the card is set to debut in the week of January 22. According to out information the a specific date that was mentioned is January 24, which aligning with the details provided by Benchlife.
Interestingly, it has been revealed that AMD will not introduce a reference model, commonly known as MBA design (Made by AMD). Instead, the RX 7600 XT will be exclusively available in custom variations. This development will welcomed by board partners, who are tired of AMD giving priority to its reference designs during previous launches. But this means that reviewers will only be testing custom designs, diverging from the RX 7600 launch, which did include a reference design primarily for testing purposes.
Among them, the Radeon RX 7600 XT is indeed in AMD’s product planning and is expected to be released the week of January 22; at the same time, we will also see the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super.

The RX 7600 XT variant is scheduled to launch more than seven months after the non-XT variant. The reason behind AMD’s decision to wait this long remains unclear, especially considering the popularity of the $300 segment. However, the market for this price tier is currently competitive, which may pose a challenge for the introduction of new models. This is especially true with the high presence of last-generation AMD RDNA2 and NVIDIA Ampere models.
Leaked information from September suggests that the RX 7600 XT may come in two variants, featuring either 10GB or 12GB of memory. The specific model AMD will choose, or if both versions are planned, remains uncertain. What is important to note is that AMD cannot increase the core count in the Navi 33 GPU beyond its current limit of 2048 cores, which is the configuration used by the RX 7600.
For RX 7600 XT, AMD may opt for the Navi 32 with a reduced core count. This may explain the delay in the card’s release, as AMD is preparing a stock of partially disabled GPUs after the September launch of the RX 7800XT/7700XT, both of which were based on Navi 32.
Worth adding that Benchlife’s sources confirm there are no plans for Radeon RX 7800/7700 non-XT variants at the moment, contrary to what the recent EEC listing has suggested.
