After an eight-year hiatus, the Hunger Games film franchise is back with The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, the first movie in a new prequel series. Although it’s still in theaters after taking in an impressive $289.6 million at the worldwide box office, the prequel movie is available to stream at home starting Dec. 19.
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is available to stream on-demand in 4K Ultra HD on Prime Video starting tomorrow. Watch it online as a rental for $20, or purchase a digital download of the film for $25.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is set 64 years before the first movie in the franchise and follows the rise of future President of Panem Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth), as an 18-year-old boy who falls in love with Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler), a poor tribute from District 12 during the 10th Hunger Games event.
The film also stars Peter Dinklage, Jason Schwartzman, Hunter Schafer, Josh Andrés Rivera, Viola Davis and others.
