Despite past instances of the coaching staff failing to make necessary adjustments, I am confident that Fields and the team will have a well-thought-out game plan for Monday night, helping the Bears put up more points this time around. I am thinking two touchdowns on the ground and then 2 more through the air for Fields.
The Bears defense will get 3+ turnovers
The Bears defense showed significant improvement by intercepting Jared Goff three times last week. While Josh Dobbs story is fun, I think it takes a turn for the worse on Monday night. It’s clear that the Bears defense has made strides in creating turnovers. In the game against the Lions, they created 3 turnovers. They even had missed opportunities for additional turnovers, notably by cornerback Jaylon Johnson, who dropped two potential interceptions, one of which could have resulted in a pick-six. Hopefully, the Bears don’t leave anymore on the field this time around.
Bears sneak out of Minnesota with a last minute win
In the preview episode of the BFR Podcast for Monday Night’s game, I initially predicted that the Bears would lose in overtime due to a last-minute field goal, anticipating another heartbreaking defeat. However, I’ve changed my viewpoint and now believe the outcome will favor the Bears. I foresee the game going into overtime, with the Bears successfully stopping the Vikings on their first offensive drive. Justin Fields will then lead the offense down the field, setting up Cario Santos for a game-winning field goal. It’s an optimistic take for the Bears but I feel like the fans are overdue for a positive turn of events.
