The Green Bay Packers released the team’s first injury report of Week 8 on Wednesday. The team will release two more injury reports, including a final injury report on Friday with official playing time designations before Sunday’s showdown with the Minnesota Vikings.
Here’s everything to know from Week 8’s first injury report:

— The injury report does not include safety Darnell Savage or cornerback Eric Stokes, who were both placed on injured reserve on Wednesday. They will both miss at least four games.
— Receiver Christian Watson, who appeared to suffer a potentially significant knee injury on the Packers’ second-to-last offensive play in Denver, practiced in full. He appears to have a terrific chance of playing Sunday. Disaster avoided.
— Linebacker Quay Walker (knee) was removed from the injury report after playing a full game without issue against the Broncos. He missed no time.
— The Packers added tight end Luke Musgrave (ankle) and center Josh Myers (ankle) to the injury report after Sunday. Neither practiced on Wednesday. It will depend on how the rest of the week plays out but both could be long shots to go against the Vikings.
— Running back Aaron Jones (hamstring) didn’t practice. Coach Matt LaFleur said he was “sore” coming out of Sunday.
— Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell practiced again, suggesting this is the week he returns from an ankle injury. He’s missed games against the Lions, Raiders and Broncos.
— Defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt, who left Sunday’s loss in the first half, practiced as a limited participant. He appears to have avoided a major injury and could play vs. the Vikings.
— Cornerback Jaire Alexander and left guard Elgton Jenkins were both limited participants. Neither practiced last Friday, and Alexander missed Sunday’s loss. The Packers need both to get healthy.
— Safety Zayne Anderson was a full participant for the first time since his hamstring injury. He could make his season debut on Sunday.
— The Vikings didn’t practice on Wednesday but estimated that tight end T.J. Hockenson (foot) wouldn’t have practiced. Minnesota listed only four players on the first injury report. Starting guard Ezra Cleveland (foot) is the other notable name.
